Hello to everyone who could be reading this. My name is Frederic, and I am a 30-year-old HR worker. I have recently decided to spice a little my professional career and learn new skills. The main skill I want to learn to code.
I think this is an important skill because our future seems to be more and more influenced by technology. It seems inevitable that almost all aspects of society will be influenced (and improved) by technology so, why not be a part of it?
First of all I would like to start learning a bit of HTML5 and CSS. I will be doing this through w3schools and free code camp. I have chosen this platforms because they explain in a clear and easy to understand way the fundamentals of this two languages and are free. I would like to try first some free learning resources and see how is my performance in acquiring those skills.
I have chosen HTML5 and CSS because they seem a good starting point. Some of my developer friends say that HTML5 is not (strictly) a coding language but it is a good start anyway. Following, I would like to learn a little of Python to apply this to data analysis.
I have decided to document all the process following the recommendation of the youtuber and developer Python Programmer in this video. I will write this blog in English, but I am not a native English speaker so my apology in advance for bad grammar and any mistake.
If anyone is reading, thank you very much for staying in with me. This will be a very exciting journey.
